How to: Disable automatic joins between tables and queries added to queries.
Solution:
Clear the 'Enable AutoJoin' check box in the 'Options' dialog box.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click 'Tables/Queries' tab.
3) Clear the 'Enable AutoJoin' check box in the 'Query Design' group.
